HITCHING POST WINES CONCERT SERIES CALENDAR
A Season of Magical Music under the Oaks
Sunday 5/14
Teresa Green

Teresa Pico (also known as Teresa Green) has played several
local wineries and venues for many years in the Santa Ynez Valley and
Santa Maria area, including Firestone, Foley Estates, Cold Spring
Tavern, Costa de Oro Winery and Rancho Nipomo BBQ, to name a few. She
performs a wide variety of music, leaning toward classic rock, blues,
Motown, country rock and more.
Sunday 5/21
Maya Helena

Maya Helena is a singer and songwriter born and raised in
Southern California, and moved to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB in 2018!
She entered the 805 music scene at the end of 2021 and has
been playing gigs ever since. She takes huge inspiration from Amy
Winehouse, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, and many classic rock bands.
Maya plays an array of covers and has been working on her originals,
and she can’t wait to get them recorded.
Sunday 5/28
Jess Bush

Born into a musical family, Jess Bush took her first piano
lesson at seven and was instantly hooked. Inspired by the musical open
heart surgery of Carole King, Stevie Nicks, and Brandi Carlile, her
raw, honest lyrics and soulful piano composition converge to create an
earnest sound somewhere in the neighborhood of Americana Folk Rock. In
addition to her work as a solo artist, Jess has provided keys, synth,
and vocals for The Mystos (voted Ventura County’s Best New
Artist) and other bands, including The Remedies, Wild Coast, The Brave
Kind, Jacob Cole, Maliah, and more.
Sunday 6/4
Arwen Lewis, Peter Lewis
and George Adrian

Arwen Lewis is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. You could say her genre is alt-country. Technically, she inhabits our blue planet, but so much about her believes and belongs in the celestial realm. First and foremost, her earthily angelic voice (just listen, and you’ll know that’s not a contradiction). She’s been part of the creative cosmos all her life, so it’s no surprise that Arwen’s new OMAD RECORDS EP is called Under the Stars—or that a slice of sonic heaven is poised to enter your heart, mind and soul. So while Arwen’s self-titled debut, released in 2015, featured her interpretations of Moby Grape songs, she’s flying higher as both producer and writer this time.
Peter Lewis is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for being a founding member of the American psychedelic rock band Moby Grape and is Arwen’s father. He has released three solo records since Moby Grape, with another one on the way, set to release June 1, 2023, on NYC indie label Omad Records, titled Imagination.
George Adrian is a Los Angeles-based musician, film composer, and songwriter. George is a staple in the Los Angeles music scene. Originally from Chicago, George was chosen by Gene Simmons (KISS) for House of Lords before being tapped for Aragon (Arista Records). He released a solo record called Road Trip on October 10, 2017, George’s latest release. Road Trip is a sophisticated and layered project that couples the moods and textures of his film and television work with the passion and storytelling of Adrian’s singer-songwriting background.
Together, Arwen, Peter, and George perform original songs
written by the three of them, as well as Moby Grape material and
classic familiar covers.
Sunday 6/11
Jeff Pine

A world-class guitarist with a celebrated career of over four
decades of live performance, Jeff Pine is recognized for his song
craftsmanship, recording and entertainment. Jeff is touring to support
his newest recording projects, ‘Some Good Things’
& ‘Sunstones.’
Sunday 6/18
Jeff Elliott

With a brilliant technique that absolutely burns, Elliott rips
scales and patterns with death-defying speeds and almost inhuman
cleanliness. So amazing are his abilities; at times, he sounds like the
trumpet equivalent of Al DiMeola with a tone closer to Jeff Beal. An
unassuming player, he embodies the concept of musicianship. This
trumpeter has been making waves around Southern California for
decades.Among those who have called on his talents are Jimmy Messina,
Flora Purim & Airto Moreira, James Brown, Doc Severinson and
Les McCann.
Sunday 6/25
Parker Scott and Arwen
Lewis

Arwen Lewis is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist; her genre is alt-country.
Parker is a multi-instrumental musician who moved to
California from Florida in 2022. He is one half of a musical duo based
out of San Luis Obispo called Walk The Whale. Parker performs music in
the genre of Alt-Pop and beyond.
For this Special Show, Arwen and Parker will collaborate on a selection
of tunes and performing their own solo sets.
Sunday 7/2
About Time

About Time is a husband and wife musical team –
Caitlyn and Aaron Salazar. Their sound is the marriage of
Caitlyn’s pure and passionate style with Aaron’s
raw approach and how the two have rubbed off on each other.
Caitlyn’s soulful power-house vocals lure audiences and they
are knocked out by Aaron’s gritty guitar. About Time
describes their music as “Cosmic California
Rock.” The story of About Time reaches all the way
back to the schoolyard, where Aaron first laid eyes on Caitlyn, and the
nine-year-old romantic got his first crush. Aaron remembers Caitlyn
bringing out the singer in him. He belted out Motown on the playground
to attract her attention, but she wasn’t very impressed. When
it came to singing, Caitlyn was already a natural. Her parents remember
she was carrying a tune before she could even talk.
Sunday 7/9
Jacob Cole

Jacob Cole is a multifaceted independent artist based on the quiet Central Coast of California. He was previously the frontman for Saint Anne's Place from Lompoc and is now the guitarist for Dante Elephante. Cole has grown into a well-rounded singer/songwriter and artist, drawing from a familiar place in his past while remaining present. His sound – described as a warm blanket on a cold night – includes songs of heartbreak and loneliness with an indie blues rock twist.
ABOUT HITCHING POST WINES:
Hitching Post
Wines are the creation of Gray Hartley and Frank Ostini,
two friends that have been making wines in Santa Barbara County,
California, since 1979. Long before Hollywood discovered the winemaking
landmark and its excellent wines, Gray Hartley, a former Alaskan salmon
fisherman, and Frank Ostini, the chef and owner of the famed Hitching Post 2 Restaurant
in Buellton, were brought together through their love of wine and
winemaking. Over the years, their backyard hobby has become a highly
acclaimed winemaking enterprise. In 1981 they discovered the wonder of
Pinot Noir grapes; since then, Pinot has been their primary focus. A
great example of these wines is the Hitching Post Highliner. The
“Highliner” is the best fisherman in the fleet, and
this name honors the great men of the Alaskan Salmon Fishery alongside
whom Gray Hartley worked for 28 years. A special wine, Highliner is meant
to be the “best of their fleet” of Pinot Noirs.
Along with ten Pinot Noir selections, Hitching Post
produces a dry Rosé called Pinks, a Syrah, four
delicious white wine varietals and a Merlot-based blend named Gen Red.
Then came Sideways
in 2004, the Academy Award® winning film set in Santa Barbara
wine country, prominently featuring The
Hitching Post 2 and Hitching
Post Wines. Since Sideways exposure in the movie, Hitching Post wines
have gained popularity. The winery has 1200 barrels and produces about
17,000 cases a year. Hartley and Ostini strive to create flavorful,
handcrafted wines that possess poise and balance, putting a slice of
Santa Barbara in each glass and a piece of their soul in every bottle
of Hitching Post.
Hitching Post Wines are enjoyed by an audience around the
globe who admire Santa Barbara wines for their lively, refreshing fruit
and their complexities of earth and spice. Hitching Post Wines are
produced by Hartley Ostini Vintners, Buellton, California.
Hitching Post Wines
has received accolades from Eater
LA, Forbes, Santa Barbara News-Press, LA Weekly, TimeOut LA, Santa
Barbara magazine, and Santa Barbara Independent, among
others.
